At jasminmusic our aim is to provide musical arrangements which can be used in a wide variety of musical situations and environments. As well as being ideal background music for weddings, parties and corporate events, many titles have been performed in public as recital or encore items in their own right at more formal musical events.

Our arrangements have been heard in venues such as London's Wigmore Hall; the church of St.Martins-in-the-Fields, London; the Barber Institute of Fine Arts at the University of Birmingham, and even at the Brecon Jazz Festival! Titles have been performed at the BBC "Proms in the Park", broadcast live on BBC Radio Wales and BBC1 National Television, and performed at the Ilkley Festival of Literature. During the Spring of 2007 titles from the catalogue were performed as part of Aled Jones' "The Best of Aled Jones" tour which included venues such as the Sage Centre, Gateshead, Fairfield Halls, Croydon and St.David's Hall, Cardiff.

Further afield, performances have taken place throughout Germany, including the Coliseum, Bonn and at the Philharmonie, Cologne, whilst elsewhere in Europe performances have taken place in Prague in the Czech Republic. Titles from the jasminmusic catalogue are also now in use in the USA and Taiwan.

Musical commissions have been fulfilled for a wide variety of musicians, not only string quartets, trios and duos, but larger ensembles, including the Cardiff-based Charlie Barber+Band, and for Germany's top vocal group, the "Wise Guys". Recent performances have also been given by Wales's top string quartet, "Celticana", whilst the rising young star soprano Fflur Wyn and solo harpist Catrin Finch have both performed music arranged by John Rayson.

With every item in the jasminmusic catalogue, we strive to produce a title which is;

Each title is, as far as is practically possible, a complete, finished and free standing musical entity, secure throughout in musical texture, faithful in it's harmony and counterpoint. Titles are printed on high quality paper, and scores (where available) are permanently bound and open flat for ease of use

Shorter titles are, where possible, furnished with repeats and/or da capos to give the option to create a piece of adequate length, whilst longer titles often include the sometimes omitted introductions, interludes or trio sections. Where there are significant musical abridgements of the composer's original work, this will usually be mentioned in the catalogue description.

Printed using sophisticated music notation software, we hope these titles will invite repeated playing, and are designed to be manageable by competent sight readers whilst providing sustained musical interest for more experienced players.
